com/maps?q=Peachtree+City+GA+30269) o Finance Job Type Full-time Description Colossal Contracting, LLC is looking for a Junior Accounting Specialist to support our team out of Peachtree City, GA.
This position will report to the AP Manager and liaise with our Accounts Receivable Manager.
This position is perfect for a self-directed individual looking to join a highly motivated team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare customer invoices daily for mail, email, or other electronic delivery.
Perform collection inquiries via outbound and inbound calls.
Assist with completing customer required forms, including W-9 forms.
Process credit card payments and refunds.
Resolving payment discrepancies and disputes.
Preparing reports on delinquent accounts and customer payment profiles.
Assist finance team and management with ad-hoc reporting.
Assist finance team with various projects as needed.
Requirements Bachelors or Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Business & Public Administration preferred.
Thorough knowledge of Accounts Payable, Receivable and Collection practices.
2-3 years' experience in general accounting, Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable.
Ability to Research and Analyze Information.
Preferred Education and Experience Experience working with QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions.
Experience working with Salesforce.
Knowledge and experience with GAAP and Revenue Recognition.
Generally Tech Savy, including proficiency in Excel and WebEx Teams.
Exposure to Government Contracting and various billing platforms.
Travel None, this position will sit out of our Peachtree City, GA office.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8:
30am-5pm.
