Private Duty LPN

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a private duty setting - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician - Perform physical examinations and monitor vital signs - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team - Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records - Must be open to learn about quadriplegics.
- Take out all things that refer to residents, or facility related.
- Addition must be able to assist with turning patients and weight shifting.
- Addition must be willing to learn all specialized care for a quadriplegics (trach care, digital bowel program, suctioning secretions from inside and around trach, cleaning assembling and disinfecting respiratory equipment, Hoyer lift transferring).
- Addition must be able to accurately record blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, and temperature at the instructed times - Addition the fact that this is a private home and all caregivers must be willing to sign an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement)to protect the clients privacy.
- Modification where it says Monday - Friday, just put must be able to work their assigned schedules.
- Addition experience with caregiving is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in the state of Location - Minimum X years of experience in acute care or behavioral health settings - Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms - Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and documentation requirements - Ability to perform physical examinations and administer medications - Familiarity with catheterization procedures is a plus - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Note:
