We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team.
As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems used in various industries.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems - Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools and power tools - Install pipes and fittings by welding, brazing, soldering, or using mechanical joints - Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other testing equipment - Inspect and repair damaged or malfunctioning pipes and valves - Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to ensure proper installation of piping systems - Follow all safety protocols and adhere to codes and standards
Qualifications:
- Proven 5 years experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of rigging techniques and procedures - Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and specifications - Familiarity with plumbing codes and standards - Experience in pipe threading and tube bending - Excellent problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently or as part of a team If you have the required skills and experience for this position, we invite you to apply.
