We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team.
As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities.
This is an essential role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our employees and visitors.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming - Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, Class rooms and other common areas - Empty trash receptacles and replace liners - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished - Perform floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and polishing - Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed - Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) - Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene Requirements:
- Previous experience in porter, custodial, or janitorial roles preferred - Knowledge of industrial and commercial cleaning techniques - Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and carpet cleaners - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Note:
