Position
Summary:
As the National Marketing Executive, your mission is to develop brand awareness of Trimax Mowing Systems in the USA and increase sales leads through both our dealer network and direct sales channel.
Working closely beside the National Sales and Customer Service Director, you'll oversee the planning, creation, and execution of advertising campaigns across various channels to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
You'll be an effective communicator and be hungry to get out on the road, meet with customers and dealers, understand their pain points and document user experience stories to help us shape our US marketing efforts.
This position sits within a wider global marketing team of 15 staff and currently has one local direct report (Marketing Assistant).
Key
Responsibilities:
Develop Marketing Strategies:
Utilize comprehensive understanding of dealer versus direct sales territories, customer segments, and competitive environment to formulate tailored marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics.
Help shape processes and tools to manage US-specific incentive programs and promotions.
Marketing Material Creation:
Coordinate the creation of marketing collateral for direct and dealer channels.
Keep end users and dealers informed through regular updates.
Gather content ideas from customer visits and use testimonials to boost brand image.
Partner with external contractors and the Trimax creative team to produce collateral.
Advertisement Management and Schedule:
Manage co-op programs and marketing funds for dealer support.
Manage budgets and contracts for consistent direct lead generation across channels, maintaining brand consistency across platforms.
Cultivate relationships for advantageous advertising rates.
Tradeshows and Events:
Identify and evaluate trade shows, conferences, and industry events for sponsorship opportunities, with ongoing ROI assessment.
Equip local teams for independent participation in events.
Oversee logistics, booth design, promotional materials, and team communication via Trimax Marketing Assistant.
Provide support with dealer training events.
Competitor Analysis:
Track competitor activities, pricing, innovations, and market positioning to identify threats and opportunities.
Benchmark company performance against competitors and industry standards to gauge market position.
Product Launch Support:
Execute local launch plans and promotional materials for new product introductions.
Conduct training sessions to educate dealers about new product features, benefits, and selling points.
Qualifications:
A formal marketing education with proven experience, preferably in omni or direct marketing.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams.
Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging dealers, customers, and staff.
Strong IT literacy, including proficiency in CRM systems.
Mechanical knowledge and understanding Willingness to travel to events, customer visits and support our national sales and dealer network.
